Sign up for ride sessions on our website beginning on 7/31!
Bike Club is back for our fall session, starting this Monday (9/14)! Here's what to expect, and what to do before then:
1. Join our Slack app. Slack is our new communication channel for the fall — each group will have its own channel, along with additional channels for selling gear and sharing photos. Join here (this link expires 10/9/2026).
2. Parents, please complete all questions in Sawyer. We need up-to-date information about your child before the season starts.
3. Check your start times in Sawyer. We stagger start times to comply with Jefferson County's regulations and to be courteous to other trail users. With over 100 kids and nearly 40 volunteers, we can clog up the trailhead fast! Ride leads, please help your group exit the parking lot quickly and hold your group huddle a bit away from the trailhead.
4. We're transitioning away from our current Facebook Group to a Facebook Page!

Prefer Insta? We've got one of those too: https://www.instagram.com/evergreenbikeclub/
It's raffle time!
At the end of our Summer 2 session, we held a raffle for the kids, and 10 lucky winners walked away with some sweet HandUp swag! Fun fact: three of the winners shared the same name, and two groups of siblings won!
We'll be holding more raffles this fall with fun prizes for both EBC kids and volunteers, including:
Water bottles stuffed with gift cards, stickers, and candy
EBC t-shirts
A whole lotta HandUp gear!
Haven't signed up yet?
We were able to get all waitlisted kids off the waitlist! Thank you so much to all of the volunteers! We've updated all our offerings to reflect any remaining spots, so this is your last chance to grab one!
How long have you been volunteering with EBC?
3 years
Favorite Trail?
Don't make me choose! (Rutabaga Ridge)
Favorite Bike?
I love my current Alchemy Arktos, but am a huge fan of the Transition Spire!
Your favorite part of volunteering with EBC (or why you volunteer)?
I really love interacting with the kids, encouraging and coaching when I can (because so many of them are already better riders than me). Watching the kids progress year after year and come together as a group of friends that support one another and also enjoy each other's company while they goof off. That's how my childhood was. It was important to me, and so it makes me really happy seeing my kids having the same experiences.
How many bikes are in your garage?
10 (Ugh!)
Favorite kind of ride: flow, tech, or long miles?
Yes, ha!
Favorite EBC memory?
Watching the kids queue up to jump the hopper in the field above the barn during the end-of-year BBQ two seasons ago.
Our membership and volunteer websites are up and running, and we're so appreciative of everyone who's already jumped in to try them out!
If you're unable to access the websites, it likely just means you haven't been granted access yet. We entered about 90% of our volunteers into the system this evening (9/9), so most of you should be all set. If you're still having trouble, please reach out to volunteers@evergreenbikeclub.org and marketing@evergreenbikeclub.org and we'll get it sorted out. It's usually just a quick fix being either a setup hiccup on our end or some missing volunteer documentation.
Our EBC kids and volunteers had a blast on bikes this summer!
EBC board member Rebecca finished the Leadville 100!!!
