Rodeo Parade
One of our favorite community events is almost here. Be sure to sign up for the Evergreen Rodeo Parade in the Stack Team app (go to schedules - all entries - scroll to June 20th) and join EBC as we ride through town celebrating this fun Evergreen tradition.
Participants should plan to arrive between 8:45 AM and 9:45 AM so kids have plenty of time to decorate their bikes before the parade begins. We will provide bike decorations, candy for riders to hand out during the parade, and EBC flyers and stickers. After the parade, Evergreen Bike Club will treat participating kids to ice cream at Colorado Creamery, which will also serve as a convenient meetup spot for families.
The parade staging area will be located near Troutdale Scenic Drive and Highway 74. The official lineup was expected to be posted on June 14, but it has not been released yet. As soon as staging details become available, we will send an email to registered participants and post a final update in the Stack Team app with meeting instructions and any last-minute details.
Pop-Up Rides
EBC has started hosting Pop-Up Rides, giving kids the opportunity to explore trails beyond our usual Three Sisters rides and experience more of the amazing riding Colorado has to offer.
Last week, riders headed to Maryland Mountain, where they tackled the technical climb up Millsite Trail and were rewarded with an incredibly fun descent down Fast Money, full of flow, speed, and jumps.
We’re keeping the momentum going with another Pop-Up Ride this week at Trestle Bike Park, giving riders another chance to get out, challenge themselves, and ride somewhere new.

A big shout out to board members Chad and Leslie for recently competing in The Hundo and The Hundito. Apparently, they had enough energy to race but somehow forgot to send me any photos of their impressive accomplishment.
So while we cannot provide visual proof that this actually happened, we are choosing to believe they crushed it, suffered appropriately, and represented EBC well.
Nice work, Chad and Leslie. Next time, pictures or it did not happen.
While using the Stack Team app, if you've ever:
Wondered where to find something
Clicked through six screens to accomplish one task
Asked, "Wait... where do I sign up?"
Accidentally signed up for the wrong thing
You are not alone.
In fact, some of our board members have spent enough time wrestling with Stack Team that they're considering adding "software troubleshooting" to their resumes.
The good news? EBC is moving to Sawyer for our Fall ride session.
We're hoping the new system will be easier for families, easier for volunteers, and require significantly less behind-the-scenes wizardry to keep rides running.
Stay tuned for more information as we get closer to launch.
Meet Brianna Colleran!
How long have you been volunteering with EBC?
This is my first year as a ride volunteer.
Favorite Trail
Love the trails at Staunton with my family, but it is hard to beat powering up Evergreen Mountain for those views to start or end a day.
Favorite Bike
Juliana Furtado, but my trusty Marin hardtail with the Shotgun seat has a special place in my heart.
Why do you volunteer with EBC?
I volunteer because so many others volunteered to get my kid out on the trails when I couldn’t, and now I am happy to be able to do the same. My favorite part is seeing how all of the kids support each other through the challenges and celebrate each other’s successes.
Early morning ride or sunset ride?
Love an early morning climb to set the tone for the day.
Best place to grab food after a ride?
Favi’s to go, or Snowpack for sit down.

A big thank you to Mountain Learning Center, founder Cara Erbe, for supporting Evergreen Bike Club. As a nonprofit and 100% volunteer-driven organization, community partnerships like this help us continue creating opportunities for kids to get out on bikes and build confidence on the trails.
Mountain Learning Center partners with families to provide quality academic support through a combination of Montessori and traditional teaching methods. Their philosophy is centered around the complementary relationship between the child, parent or guardian, and guide, creating a thoughtful and supportive learning environment for every student.
We are especially grateful for Mountain Learning Center’s support behind the scenes, including helping us with printing and materials that keep the club running smoothly.
Thank you for supporting EBC and helping us keep kids riding.
